Well, the committee got together on an online chat March 23rd and made GREAT strides toward the reunion plans.

So.... Here Goes:

1. We are requesting a deposit from everyone of $25.00 as soon as possible (more if you can afford it)
   We need to put the deposit on the hall for the reunion, plus pay for postage of mailings.

2. Thursday Night Get Together 7/10/03
   
   • We are inviting the classes of 72 and 74 to join us
     
   • Rich Fargo is contacting the Beach Grill for prices and menus
     
   • Nancy Kott is contacting the Class of 72
     
   • Marla Evangelista is contacting the Class of 74
     
   • We're hoping to set the get together up from around 7:30 - 9:30ish so those who go to work that day can still join in

3. Friday Golf/Picnic 7/11/03
   
   • Stoney Creek - Cheryl Normandeau will contact Stoney Creek to see about deposits/reservations
     
   • Marla Evangelista is chairing the Golf Committee for those who care to golf - Gary Szalanski is helping along with a few other folks.
     
   • Picnic around 11:00 am to include families of Class of 73 including kids, grandkids, parents, grandparents, etc.
     
   • Picnic will be potluck
     
   • Rita Hill is handling the potluck signup sheet/assignments. As soon as we've settled on the menu, Rita will email you all

4. Saturday - Big Bash 7/12/03
   
   • Zuccaro's - 46601 N. Gratiot, 1/2 mile north of M-59.
     
   • Chesterfield, MI 48051 (Somewhere around 20 mile road)

   • We're working on the menu and will get with everyone soon

   • Rich Fargo is getting quotes for the band Holy Smoke (they just got back together) and Cheryl is getting a quote from a DJ.
     
   • Which would you prefer a DJ or the old band Holy Smoke?

   • Video/Audio - handled by hubby Brian Borysewich
     Brian would like to put together a video of our times - so if you have some old video's sitting around, or photos, email or send them to him - brian@netstat.com or email him for our address

   • Memory Booklet - In the next few weeks I will be posting a form to the rhs73.com web site for everyone to fill out for the memory book. I also would like to get current photos of everyone so we can include them in the booklet. We'll save money on the production of the book because I can do that, but we'll still have to get it printed.

   • If anyone has any ties to a printer/copy place, please let me know so we can get a break on the price of the memory book.

5. Airfares - I am getting in touch with Denise Marsella who works for Spirit Air - see if she can get some deals for those people on the East Coast - I am working on the discount from Northwest. If anyone else has any ties to the airline industry please let me know - we'd like to get everyone a break on travel.

6. FUNDRAISING: Cheryl Normandeau is putting together a couple of bowling tournaments as well as having businesses ads run at the local bowling alley. If anyone has any ideas for fundraising - PLEASE let us know - we need to get cash flowing!

   We're also offering businesses banner ads on the RHS73 website for $25.00 per month. So, if you own your business, send us your ad and $25 and we'll run your banner. Maybe talk with the company you work for to see if they'd chip in a few bucks for the old folks!
