If we are going to truly account for everyone in our class - we need to mention those who have passed. Some are casualties while we were in school and are a testament to how hard those years were. To those who are considering not attending for whatever reason, maybe we should just pay tribute to those fallen brothers in our own type of war, if you will, because for a lot of people it was a war with consequences we still feel today, and apparently there were more casualties than most of us knew.

Let this not be a place of sadness, but of friendship and love; a stopping point where our hectic lives take a pause as we reflect on our human history and the paths taken by travelers who were there with us.

    Mark Begar

    Pam Daley

    Deanna Gamble

From Meg Fitzgerald - Deanna was killed in an airplane crash in Kerrville, Texas. It was a private plane. They were at a fair. I think the pilot was related to her husband. She was killed along with the pilot, her husband, and her infant daughter. The crash occurred sometime in the late 70s or early 80s. I don't remember exactly when. Her parents are living in San Antonio Texas in the house she and Stan had built, but never got to live in. I don't remember Stan's last name. He was working for a Cumings Diesel repair shop in San Antonio.
I had been stationed in San Antonio and had gone to the grocery store. Deanna happened to be there too. We had quite a reunion. It turned out we were living in the same neighborhood, just a few block apart. What a small world! Anyway, we hung out together until she was killed. I heard the news on the radio. The funeral was held in Kerrville.

    Rick Hollifield
    Suicide

    Joan Forsell

From Nancy Kott: Joan died a couple years ago from cancer. They didn't diagnose it in time, thought it was Crohns disease and by the time they figured it out, it was too late. She left behind three little girls, the youngest was about 4 at the time, I think the oldest was 8.

    Anna Magnante-Longo
From Yolanda Vergilio - "I am very sad to say that Anna passed away a few years ago from cancer. She was a very kind and gentle person. She lived in Windsor, Ont. I did go to her visitation. My family was very close friends with her family. We used to go dancing in Windsor, that is were she met her husband. Her sister Olga, also married a guy from Windsor and still lives there"

    Sheila McNichol
From Robin Henning-Urbanek - In memory of Sheila McNichol who drowned in 1995. She was one of the kindest souls the good Lord ever put on this earth. I miss her so much.
